Paestum
On the night of October 14th, 1989 the moon was full. I had slipped under the fence and into the site at sunset and stayed until sunrise. I took pictures all night long, dozing from time to time on the warm peristyle of the second temple to Hera. That night in the ruins of Paestum remains to this day one of those solitary adventures i will never forget.

It is the setting for my picture AGAPE which I painted more than a decade later.
